My broad research interests are in the areas of urban public transport, neoliberal urban development and inclusive cities. I look at transportation studies through intersectional lenses of urban design, sociology and geography. My doctoral research looked at mega-transport projects and their socio-spatial impacts on the urban in the context of Delhi. I have an in-depth understanding of qualitative field work vis-a-vis contested public spaces, transportation choices and stakeholder consultation.
